If you are pursuing a degree programme, which includes Arabic and does not include a year abroad, then this is a core module for you. This module is also suitable for you if you are a postgraduate student who need Arabic for your research. This module aims to continue development of active and passive learning of Modern Standard Arabic through writing and conversation, and to consolidate command of Arabic grammar. This module will enable you to read authentic texts in Arabic such as media and literary texts, and to develop your writing and translation skills.
Pre-requisite: ARA2148 Beginners Arabic II or equivalent.
