This is a core module for MArabic students. Having spent a year abroad in an Arabic- speaking country, you now have a deeper knowledge of Arabic language and culture. You can also speak a dialect of Arabic. This module builds on this experience and develops active and passive learning of Arabic through a wide range of written and audio-visual materials. It will enable you to strengthen your awareness of the different styles and registers of Arabic and to develop skills in composition and translation. The module also aims to consolidate the use of colloquial Arabic.
