Building on your study of Advanced Turkish I (ARA3165), which is its prerequisite, this module will (1) develop your skills in reading, writing and speaking Turkish(2) broaden your skills in using Turkish through the reading of Advanced level Turkish texts; (3) give you the capacity to carry on conversations in Turkish at the Advanced level; (4) perfect your skills in composition and translation of Turkish; (5) consolidate your use of colloquial modern Turkish through using a wide range of written and audio-visual materials, and lastly (6) enable you to comprehend classical Turkish literature at a sophisticated level of expertise.
