Enas has MA in English Language and Literature from College of Arts- University of Baghdad. She is currently conducting her PhD at the Institute of Arab and Islamic Studies (IAIS) and the Centre of Advanced International Studies where her supervisor Dr Bice Maiguashca is located. She is the recipient of the International PhD Researcher Studentship- Faculty of Humanities, Social Sciences and Arts (HASS) at the University of Exeter.
Her PhD investigates the Kurdish women grassroot praxis and epistemology focusing on Jineolojî perwerde (Kurmancî: Jineolojî education). The study is aimed to examine Jineolojî as: the paradigm of the Kurdish Women Liberation Movement based in Democratic Confederalism ideology, a knowledge system of Kurdish women rooted in radical democracy and governance, and epistemology of indigenous women from the global south.
In addition to her PhD research, Enas works as a digital archive assistant at the Digital Archive of the Middle East (DAME); a collaborative project between the Institute of Arab and Islamic Studies (IAIS) at the University of Exeter and the Institute for International and Area Studies (IIAS) at Tsinghua University.
