I am a self-funded PhD researcher in Palestine Studies exploring the ways in which Palestinian experiences of Israeli settler colonialism are ignored, denied and silenced in German society. Through the lenses of coloniality of power and Orientalism, I examine how this ignorance is located within the German memory culture and its affects.
