I am currently a PhD student and a member of the Centre for the Study of Islam at the Institute of Arab and Islamic Studies, University of Exeter. Under the supervision of Professor Robert Gleave, my research focuses on Shīʿī jurisprudence and ḥadīth. Specifically, I study the role of the concept of dissimulation (taqiyya) in resolving ḥadīth contradictions within the Akhbārī School of thought in Twelver Shīʿīsm.
